Equipment

When rock climbing a few basic items are neccessary to start climbing. Below is a list of the neccessary climbing equipment.

• Climbing Shoes
• Chalk Bag(not needed but HIGHLY recommended)
• Harness(Top Rope only)
• Mat(Bouldering only and most gyms have mats for you to use)
• Brush(Not needed but recommended after you start climbing for a little)

Most of those items can be rented from any gym. However once you start climbing frequently it is advised to buy your equipment(except mats as those are provided for free by any gym). A decent climbing shoe
